Come to Bloody BurgerMonday at The LUXE and Get Your Hands on John Torode's New Buns
The house burger I was invited to try on behalf of BurgerMonday by The LUXE chef-patron John Torode of MasterChef fame was an irresistible hunk spilling beefy, cheesy, eggy juices with every bite. The only bummer was the bottom half of the bun, which was soaked and squished.
"Eating it", I told Torode, "felt like holding a hot, greasy piece of meat in your hands".
"Hmmm", smirked Torode. "That's one I haven't heard before".
Torode promised to have new ones in place for Bloody BurgerMonday at The LUXE on the 26th of July.
When you arrive at this meatup upstairs in the private dining loft OF The LUXE you will be greeted by Torode handed his prize-winning Bloody Mary or its non-alcoholic equivalent.
The menu starts, naturally, with The LUXE Burger (Cheddar, bacon, fried ggg) accompanied by chips and crispy fried onions & concludes with a refreshing apple crumble "hardshake" of vodka, cinnamon schnapps, apple schnapps and vanilla ice cream topped whipped and crumbled biscuit (or, as a substitute, any soft milkshake).
The cost is £25 per person. Space is limited to 25. Book now.
